Yes, the dream is free. We've been dreaming since we were little, every one of us. You can dream big or dream small.
But, the hustle….That takes effort.
The Dream is Free, The Hustle is Sold Separately!
That isn't just a saying, it's the truth. If all you do is dream, you'll never achieve your dreams. So, how do you get past the dream stage to the hustle stage?
First, you ditch the excuses.
We all have them.
I don't have time.
No money for it.
It's easier to not change.
What if I fail.
I won't be good enough.
So, first, make a list of excuses you catch yourself using, wad it up and throw it away.
Once you do that, decide what dream do you want to make reality? Not the ‘I want a unicorn' dreams, but the ‘I want to live ____' or ‘I want to make ____' dreams. Mine is to make six figures doing what I love. My designs, cooking and writing.
Then, realize you're going to have to work for it. You can't achieve your dreams if you don't put the hustle into it. If I don't create designs and get them out in front of others, I won't sell them. If I don't document my recipes and process, then share them with others, it goes no where. If I don't write and share it with you, it's still just a dream. That's where the hustle comes into play.
I've had a lot of help along the way. I had to ditch my excuses and overcome my fear of failure. I have to put forth the effort to achieve the dream.

Start where I did, with a goal planner. It doesn't matter what your dream is, what part of your life it improves or where you're at in achieving it, a goal planner is a great way to keep you on track. While you're at it, why not put some motivational quotes right in your face every day? A poster on the wall, like this, or a plaque reminding you that you have to work for it. Make yourself a dream board. This bundle from Blissful Road is great!
