Each day offers new opportunities to start fresh and do better. It’s also a chance to change your morning routine. To have the best day, you must start by thinking about these first few hours of your morning. Think of it as setting the tone for your entire day. That’s why making over your morning is so important. It’s not just about those first few hours. Those first few hours set the tone for the rest of your day.
Let’s use the snooze button as an example. We’ve all been there. You set the alarm early, to get a great start on the day. Instead, when that alarm goes off, you hit snooze – once, maybe more. Other mornings you get up with the alarm, the first time. It’s a whole different start to the day.
Did you notice a difference in how you felt with the snooze feature? Did you accomplish more on the mornings when you got up with the alarm? How did those days compare to when you hit the snooze button over and over again?
if I had to take a guess, I would say that you felt more rested and were able to accomplish a lot.
You’re not alone. No matter what the morning is like, it’s important to have a plan in place that will help you wake up ready for success! That way you can be energized and ready to go.
It’s not always easy for everyone to get up when the alarm goes off in the morning, but that doesn’t mean we can’t come up with a plan to help us wake up with a better attitude. There are some really cool things that can make waking up in the morning easier and more successful, like creating a morning routine or getting enough sleep each night.
When we create a morning routine, it’s easier for us to wake up and get going because we know what needs to be done and how much time is given. It also helps with our mood because we can think about what is going to happen later that day and feel good before the morning even starts.
The other thing you should do to help yourself wake up in a better mood is to get enough sleep. Sleep is really important because it helps us feel rested so we can think more clearly and have a better attitude in the morning.
We set the tone for our whole day in just a couple hours. So, let’s talk about how to makeover your morning and change your whole day!

Set a goal
A successful morning routine starts with setting a goal for the day. This can be anything from “get in shape” to “eat healthier”. Setting this intention will help you prioritize what is most important to you. Use the rest of your routine to support this goal.
Identify one thing that you need to do in order for you to get started. Achieving the goal will propel you towards adopting a different routine in your morning. Create a short list of the actions that will radically impact your outlook for the day. Determine which morning routine would have the most positive influence on your life.
Your goal will be different each day, but the steps remain the same. You will find that, as you makeover your morning routine, you will reach this goal and move on to the next one quickly. If your goal for the day is to finish a project, you will use that in your affirmation and clearing your mind before you start your day.
Create an affirmation
Create an affirmation focused around your goal. This affirmation should help you get in the mindset to achieve your goal that day.
If your goal is to finish a project, perhaps an affirmation such as “I have everything that I need to succeed.”
If your goal is to eat healthier or exercise, an affirmation like ‘I will focus on nourishing my mind, body, and spirit today.” or “I am stronger than any excuse.”
Get up with intention for the day.
Getting up with intention for the day sets you up to succeed.
You are what you wake up to! Success starts with waking-up successfully to having a productive day. Whether you want to stay up late or need more time in the morning, by doing what it takes to understand personal priorities, identify barriers, cultivate healthy emotions, and more you’re ready for morning success.
Start your morning right and give yourself a head start on all of the things that life throws at us during our busy days.
Cleanse mind and body
This is an essential step in a morning routine. You need to get up and starting the day fresh. Start by clearing your mind with meditation or prayer, then cleanse your body with a ritual like yoga, or a shower.
Other ways to cleanse your mind and body are drinking warm lemon water, taking a brisk walk, breathing exercises or even starting a gratitude journal.
Eat a nutritious breakfast (not too heavy, not too light)
A healthy breakfast is an essential part of a productive, energized morning routine. Eating breakfast provides energy for the day ahead and helps maintain focus. A nutritious meal in the morning will provide sustained energy for the day. A well-balanced breakfast will also provide key nutrients like protein, vitamins and minerals that your body needs to function effectively.
The most important time of the day is in the morning! This is the time in which your body is most able to produce energy, and breakfast can fuel it.
Waking up with a healthy boost of protein will give you lasting energy and mental clarity.
Create a morning routine
A morning routine is a set of habits that you practice in the mornings. Although everyone’s routines will be different, there are some common elements- such as breakfast and getting dressed- that most people practice as part of their morning routine.
Create one that will be easy for you to follow. Stick with it! This morning routine will make you feel great and get the day off to a good start. We want every day of our lives to be high energy, so we should take care of ourselves.
Make your bed and tidy up
One way to start your morning off right is by making your bed and tidying up. If you have a messy room, it can affect the mood of the whole day because you’ll constantly be looking at the mess. Making your bed not only looks neater, but it also gives you a sense of accomplishment when you see that straightened up bed and neat room in the morning.
Make a plan for the rest of the day.
The last step in your morning makeover is planning the day! Whether you’re headed to the office or being a great mom, this step is important. You want to set yourself up to succeed so you need time know what’s coming up!
Making a plan will change the outlook of the whole day. It will also help when life throws you curveballs, and it will. Deviations and obstacles are easier to deal with because you can modify your plan easier than if you had no plan at all.
After you have a plan, it’s time to get excited for the day.
Take Time To Review Your Morning Routine Regularly
Creating routines and habits for your mornings are a great thing. They allow you to do what needs done without having think too hard about it, which can be good or bad depending on how that impacts reaching goals more than anything else!
The benefits of a morning routine are many. From the increased productivity it provides, to improved mental clarity and physical energy for the day ahead – no matter what time zone you live in!
Set aside a little time every few weeks or even months to review your routine. Put it on the calendar and make sure you do it! It won’t take long, but this will be an invaluable exercise in the long run because our lives change so much over time – we should also keep up with those changes by changing what we do each day too.
When you sit down to review your morning routine, ask yourself this:
Is it working? Is it really well-working and creating the results that I want.
If it is, then continue on with your routine. If you’re unhappy with your morning routine, it may be time to make some changes. If not then stick with what works for now and tweak as needed until finding something that suits both our needs at this point in life.
Remembering the importance of balance by changing only one thing each day will help reduce stress on ourselves while achieving goals more efficiently than ever before! Time to makeover your morning!
