Easy Slow Cooker Ravioli Lasagna

Making an easy dinner doesn't have to be hard, and this Slow Cooker Ravioli Lasagna is proof of that. With a slow cooker full of delicious ravioli, sauce, and cheese-it's the perfect recipe for busy families.

My family loves lasagna but, with our busy schedules, it's hard to find the time to do all of the prep work for a full lasagna meal. That's where this easy recipe bridges the gap, giving us the flavor of lasagna with the shortcuts for a great, weeknight meal.

The convenience of the slow cooker can't be denied. Set it and forget it is a great tagline for this kitchen gadget. Especially for busy families. Tossing in all the ingredients before heading out the door in the morning, or closing the door to your home office, and having the meal ready when you walk in (or open the office door) after work.

The beauty of this recipe is it's so simple but delicious. If you're not fond of ground turkey, use ground beef. If you want to add some creamy ricotta to it, just add a few dollops between the layers.

Slow Cooker Ravioli Lasagna

Ingredients

  • 25oz bag of frozen ravioli
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1lb ground turkey
  • 3 14oz cans crushed tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp red chili flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. In a large skillet, add olive oil and brown ground turkey. If there is grease, drain it.
  2. Add crushed tomatoes, italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and red chili flake.
  3. Stir and add salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Add a small layer of sauce to the bottom of a 6qt slow cooker.
  5. Add a layer of ravioli, topped with a layer of mozzarella cheese.
  6. Repeat with sauce, ravioli, and cheese until you end with sauce on top.
  7. Top with remaining mozzarella cheese and parmesan cheese.
  8. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours.
  9. Turn off the slow cooker and let sit for 20 mins before serving.
